Mats Ahlstedt

Mats Ahlstedt was born in 1949 in Jämtland but the family soon moved to Gothenburg. Mats father was a priest, working in a Gothenburg prison, and listening to his stories is one of the things that influenced Mats to become a writer of crime fiction. After a BA at the University of Gothenburg Mats decided to go into journalism, something he still works with when not writing books. He is married, has two daughters, a few grandchildren and a very lazy Shetland Sheepdog.
